Should I stay or should I go?

1,300,000 inhabitants left Sweden between 1845 and 1930 in order to find a better life. 300,000 more left the countryside to find a better life in the city of Stockholm. We will discover where they came from, why they left and how they fared once they got here. The tour starts at Skansen, the world’s first (and maybe best!) outdoor museum where we will delve into the regions of Sweden from whence they came and will continue by walking the streets of Söder where they settled.

If you have Swedish heritage or are interested in the development of the Swedish Model, this could be a tour for you.
